Based in Lenexa Kansas with offices in Jefferson City, Springfield, St Louis Missouri, and Wichita Kansas. C&C Group is an integrator of a variety of manufacturers products on construction and service projects of all sizes for a diverse clientele.We offer extensive design, consultation, programming, installation, commissioning and service expertise for Access Control, CCTV, HVAC Controls, Fire Safety Systems, Wireless Networks, Network Services, Emergency Power Generators, and Access Flooring. Our firm is committed to continuous improvement and is interested in hiring people that want to make a difference.We currently seek an individual to fill our immediate opening for a Fire Safety Technician in our Jefferson City Missouri location.

  • Must have proficient knowledge in the following areas is required: Fire Systems, Common Electrical Instruments and their usage, Local and Wide Area Networking, Life Safety and Security Codes/Standards.

  • Provide start up programming and commissioning tasks associated with new fire alarm and or security systems.

  • Some system installation would be required, low voltage wire pulling and mounting of system devices.

  • Provide service support on fire alarm and security systems.

  • Provide required fire alarm inspections per NFPA and local codes.

  • Responsible for servicing product and equipment on assigned projects and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Uses a variety of hand tools, following blueprints, wiring diagrams, piping schemes or engineering specifications, to diagnose and repair units.

  • Regular travel requirements with occasional stays - 25%.

  • Flexibility to work overtime/weekends, as required. Job would require the applicant to be on-call to provide emergency service after hours , weekends and holidays

 

 

Experience and Skills:

Qualified individuals will need demonstrated technical experience as a field technician for commercial fire alarm and or security systems. Fire alarm background would be a plus.NICET certification would be beneficial.NICET certification would be expected within a year of hire.

Ability to work with little supervision, outgoing, good verbal and written communications skills, strong customer service skills, the ability to adapt to schedule changes with little or no warning. Clean driving record, technical background in life safety systems

 

Final candidates must successfully pass a pre-employment drug screen and background investigation including criminal and motor vehicle check.
